One search, every shop
When you search, kwaai asks every shop in the list at the same time and merges what comes back into one list. Shops answer at different speeds: each chip shows the seconds while it waits, and flashes with its count when it's in. If you've already scrolled into the results, new listings wait in a bar at the bottom so the list doesn't jump. A shop that hasn't answered within a minute is skipped.
Where the listings come from
Everything comes from the shops' own public websites and product feeds, the same pages you'd see in your browser. Answers are kept for 15 minutes so repeat searches are quick and gentle on the shops. Prices, stock and photos are the shop's, as they were when we last looked.
Condition and specs
Every shop words condition differently, so kwaai maps them onto one scale (New, Excellent, Very good, Good, Fair) and shows the shop's own word next to it. Specs like RAM, processor, screen size and charging port are read from each listing's title and details. They're usually right, but a listing that doesn't say can't be filtered on, and an odd title can be misread. Always check on the shop's page.
Find me a mind-blowing deal
The deal button searches a mix of popular devices across every shop, then compares each listing with similar ones (same model and storage) and with how desirable it is: newer, higher-end and better-specced devices in good condition score higher. Listings that mention faults are skipped. It picks one of the best at random, and tells you why it was chosen. It's a fun starting point, not financial advice.
Buying
kwaai doesn't sell anything, take payments or handle orders. Every listing links to the shop's own page, and the sale, delivery, returns and warranty are between you and that shop.
Privacy
No accounts, no ads, no cookies. Your theme choice is saved in your own browser. Searches are sent to the shops by kwaai's server, but photos load straight from the shops' image servers, the font from Google Fonts and the "Buy me a coffee" button from buymeacoffee.com, so they see your IP address like any website would.
